  • Delta Diner is our top breakfast and lunch recommendation for anyone looking for a truly unique experience. Housed in a completely rebuilt 1940 Silk City Diner in the “middle of nowhere,” the eclectic menu features from scratch “Blue Plate Specials” and specialty sandwiches. A bit of a drive, but worth it.   • Lakewoods Resort serves steaks, seafood, and regional specialties in a dining room overlooking Lake Namakagon. Every Tuesday and Saturday is Prime Rib Night, and the Friday Fish Fry features Icelandic Cod deep fried with traditional corn fritters and maple syrup along with special prices on Walleye. The popular Sunday Buffet includes crab legs, roast beef, BBQ ribs, chicken, made to order omelets, hand tossed pastas, and bountiful desserts.   • For more casual tavern style dining check out Pla-Mor Bar & Restaurant (715-794-2145) or Loon Saloon (715-794-2265). Both establishments are located on County Hwy D along the east shore of Lake Namakagon. The Loon is especially popular for pizza and Pla-Mor is noted for Wednesday “Wing Dings.”
  • Just 10 miles south of Cable in the tiny hamlet of Seeley, Sawmill Saloon features great food, drink, ambiance and live music. Featured menu items include homemade pizzas, great burgers, River Pig chili dogs, homemade Indian tacos, Friday night broasted fish fry, and Saturday night grilled steak specials.
