Relish the Cable area's finest dining experience at the
Rookery Pub & Cafe
Conveniently located in the lower level of Cable Nature Lodge

Offering Creative Cuisine and
Breathtaking Nature Photography

The Rookery Pub & Cafe at Cable Nature Lodge opened on May 22, 2008. Executive Chef Eric Raymond has created a bold imaginative menu of flavorful food, with ingredients procured from local producers to the extent possible. Chef Eric is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He is serving up his delectable dishes in the relaxing smoke-free ambiance of one of the warmest and most distinctive eating and drinking venues in Wisconsin's Northwoods.

In addition to great food and fine spirits the Rookery also is the exclusive Northwest Wisconsin gallery for noted Wisconsin nature and wildlife photographer Kristen Westlake. Two dozen of Kristen's fine art images in sizes up to five feet across adorn the walls of the pub and restaurant and her entire portfolio of amazing photographs is available for purchase.

The creative cuisine and unique ambiance of the Rookery Pub & Cafe ranks it among the most exceptional dining and drinking establishments in northern Wisconsin. We look forward to welcoming you!  Bill Brakken, Proprietor
